Get to Know
Dr. Jennifer Cross

Dr. Cross has been a part of our office for over five years now, and we’re so lucky to have her! Today, as our dedicated anesthesiologist, she does an amazing job at taking the anxiety out of dental work for nervous patients from all walks of life. If you’d like to learn more about her, just keep reading below.

Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist/Anesthesiologist?

Ever since she can remember, Dr. Cross has had an interest in both the medical and dental fields. After completing her undergraduate degree, she chose to apply to dental school and enjoyed the work because she saw the life-changing impact it could have on a person, whether through relieving their pain or helping them improve their self-confidence with a brand-new smile.

However, Dr. Cross also personally witnessed the extreme anxiety that kept so many patients from pursuing their dental needs and goals. She decided to pursue anesthesia because it allowed her to combine her passions for both dentistry and medicine into one career. It also gives her the ability to help patients with severe fear comfortably achieve what they need to smile brighter and live healthier.

Where Did You Study Dentistry/Medicine?

After completing her undergraduate degree at Southwestern Adventist University, Dr. Cross chose to complete both her dental doctorate and dental anesthesia residency at Loma Linda University. She also underwent a General Practice Residency at the Loma Linda Veteran’s Hospital. Today, she is a Board-Certified dental anesthesiologist, which represents her dedication to quality, clinical precision, and lifelong learning.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Dr. Cross and her eventual spouse Luke grew up in Keene and started dating while in college. Today, they have a little toddler named Korbin. When she isn’t busy working, hanging out with family and traveling are her biggest priorities. Here’s an interesting fact about her as well: she used to be an acrobat!
