New Dental Patient Information Whitney
We Welcome New Smiles!

We’re honored that you’re considering Lake Whitney Dental for your and your family’s oral healthcare needs. Our practice accepts new patients of all ages. We’ve laid out all of the information you need to get started below. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to give us a call. We’d be happy to help!
Your First Visit

Once you’ve filled out your paperwork and been checked in by our friendly front desk staff, one of our dental assistants will take some quick X-rays to help us get an idea of the current state of your oral health. From there, you’ll be introduced to your dentist, who will spend a few minutes getting to know you and discussing your smile goals before giving your mouth a thorough examination. They’ll then explain our findings, talk about any treatments you may need, and develop a customized plan to ensure your smile stays healthy for years to come.
Patient Forms

As much as we love spending time with our patients, we also aim to make your visits efficient. Simply download our forms below, complete them, and bring them with you to our office on the day of your visit to speed up the check-in process!

Dental Insurance

We will gladly accept all PPO plans, UnitedHealthcare Medicaid, and MCNA/DentaQuest Medicaid. To make things easier on your end and ensure you’re getting the most out of your benefits, we’ll even do the work of filing your claims on your behalf. Often, you’ll be expected to pay for your care upfront and be reimbursed by your insurance company later. Make sure to call us ahead of time so we can provide you with an estimate of how much you can expect to pay out of pocket.
We are in-network with the following insurance:
- All major PPOs
- United Healthcare Medicaid

Dental Financing

For our uninsured patients or those who need extensive treatments, we recommend flexible dental financing. Rather than having to pay for the full cost of your treatment at once, you can apply for a low-to-no interest loan through third-party financers like CareCredit or Sunbit. These third-party companies have helped countless patients fund their dental care by breaking up the price of their treatment into smaller monthly installments that can fit into just about anyone’s budget.

Medicaid

Under Medicaid and CHIP plans, children and eligible seniors typically receive full coverage for their dental care, but non-senior adult coverage varies from state to state. Unfortunately, adults in Texas generally only receive Medicaid dental coverage in the case of emergency dentistry. If you or a loved one qualifies for Medicaid or CHIP, both of which pay for a large percentage of the cost of preventive and restorative care, our team can help you maximize your coverage.
